Hugo Carrion is a photographer with exceptional qualities. His experience in a range of environments has led him to develop an excellence and gusto in his technique that is consistently reflected in his photographs.

Since college, Hugo has always been motivated to enter photographic competitions to enhance the quality of his work. In 2007, he was in the Mac-on-Campus semifinals. He also was in the finals of Photoshopworld Commercial Photography and Honorable Mention in IPA during 2008.

During 2007, he was an intern of Jim DiVitale, the Photoshop Master and Canon Explorer of Light. Under DiVitale's instruction, Hugo reached new levels of expertise in commercial photography and digital workflow.

Hugo has also assisted photographers like Joe Glyda, Helene Glassman, and Kevin Ames. From working with these top-notch photographers, he has learned how to excel in the field of food and portrait photography.

Hugo is an active member of APA Advertising Photographers of America.
