About Me

BIO:
Background Info.
Born in Plainview, New York on January 18th, 1977, Danielle DeLorenzo has earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting at St. Joseph's College during the year of 1999. After pursuing a career as a Stockbroker for 5 years she has decided for once in her life that she wanted to devote her time to something that she believed would make a difference in other peoples lives as well as her own. Her main objective is to be happy with what she is accomplishing in life instead of always trying to please others and she realized that with a positive mindset this accomplishment has been achieved. She firmly believes that instilling positive energy or better yet promoting it will make others as well as herself beneficial to her surroundings.

The Reason Behind My Motivational Drive
It all began when I was twelve years old and my sister was diagnosed with renal failure that I used food as a way to feel like I had some control over my life. I developed the disease known as anorexia nervosa and psychologists say that one who develops this disease is usually exposed to some sort of trauma in their life. So, I would starve myself and exercise to the extreme. I finally came to the realization that I had a major problem when I eventually passed out!!! I then knew that I needed to change my way of living so I started doing extensive research on the disease as well as ways to cope with it. Once you have developed a distorted body image it stays with you in some shape or form.
I then started training in my high school gym and would pick up certain techniques from the football players who were required to train after school. After high school I joined a gym and became close friends with an aerobic instructor (Joanne Fiermonte) and a professional bodybuilder (Joseph Pacello). I give these two close friends of mine all the credit for helping me achieve my goals as well as instilling in me the knowledge to do so. I learned that the best way to achieve your goals is MIND OVER MATTER, determination, and having a positive attitude. This can and should be applied to anything that you are looking to achieve in life. The most important things in life is your health ("The first wealth is health" - Ralph Waldo Emerson), family, and being happy with who you are and what you do because if you are not happy with yourself you can't be happy with someone else. It's your attitude about yourself that people will adopt. So, how do you go about achieving this attitude? It's all about action, talk is cheap. I do however believe that there are some people who actually mean what they say. The best way to go about this is to take one step at a time and put your mind to it. If you are going to do it you must give it 110% no matter what!!! Never underestimate your potential and DO NOT let others kick you while you are down!!! Use their negative impact as something to focus on when training to make you angry which in result will become a good motivational tool.

This is what led me to pursue a career in personal training. I was inspired by and admire the amazing bodies of the following fitness competitors: Monica Brandt, Trish Stratus, and Amy Fadhli....

I am currently working for STARCHEM as a promotional model and am a certified personal trainer by The International Sports Science Association . I love my job because I truly enjoy helping my clients achieve their fitness goals. I feel fulfilled everyday through my work knowing that I am making a difference in other peoples lives by helping them keep a positive mental state. I continuously drill into their minds to make sure that by the end of the day they go to bed with a smile on their face and to focus on what they have. One must be grateful on the opportunities that are brought upon them. I am an inspiration to my clients which continuously keeps myself motivated to reach my own goals.

I love every aspect of health and fitness and I am fascinated by the physiology behind every exercise I do. What fascinates me the most is the overall effect everything I eat and drink has on my body. You would not believe how much your body can transform by just making a few simple changes in your diet and exercise routine. I try to never lose sight of my goals but we all have the tendency to do so at times. I believe that to reach your goals you must have the right encouragement from others and this is why I feel that my knowledge as a professional will have a tremendous impact on your lifestyle.
