I was born into a world of photography. My father was an award winning photographer. As a child I would go into his darkroom with him to help him develop photos. He would put the negative into the enlarger, project it onto the photo paper. Then put the paper into the developer, then the stop bath, then the photo fix, then he would give the photo to me to put in the water. When I got a little older I went to other children’s homes and was shocked to find they had no darkroom.
I registered the trademark “World’s Greatest Photographer”. I use it as a joke when photographing families, as I state “We will now take the greatest photograph since the invention of the camera!” After that photo I make the same claim before the next photo is taking. I also use it to push myself to be the world’s greatest photographer. If I try my best, I can achieve it. If I don’t, I won’t achieve it.
