Afternoon Cazimir.
Ohio? Kinda far, but, i will be in NY. NY market is tough, Paris is a little easier- for getting tear sheets. But, hook up with a photographer that works with an agency. Have them bring you in. The agencies always want to FIND a talent, not so easy to send in pics, or even go to OPEN CALLS.
Conventions I never went. If they ask for a fee, I'd skip it or go, if you think just talking with others will help.
Just really try to hook up with Photographer, keep shooting, and find an agent.
Easy right. But, it will work.
Your pics should get you in and personality means a lot to agents. No more snobby, here i am models today. It's all about the nice guy or the hard working creative one.
