I create myself with coffee in wine glasses. By holding my head up while I walk. By smiling and meaning it. I create laughter in myself, and those around me if I can. I'm created with love. By love. By peace and openness and willingness to change. Created with hip hop, and alto saxaphones. With dance moves in the living room and company late in the evening. I'm created by the moon against snow. By birds across the water. By cresting waves when they pass all day. Created with sand, and champagne. With friends and family and lovers and moments gone wrong. I'm created by mistakes. By right choices and taking chances, opening my eyes and my ears and my heart and being willing to see things as they can be, as they will be. I'm created with potential. Created with mishaps, self consciousness, fear, and embarassment, but all of those are the little parts of me. And one part tequila or one part Newcastle, cheap beer or box wine. Some pieces of a bioligist on a fishing boat, some pieces of a lady with her toe nails painted and her eye lashes done. A creation of conversation. A creation of ideas. Wanting to learn, wanting to change, wanting to be, wanting to create the best world I can. And all parts, the good and the bad, are still part love.
