Mia Ferreri

BIOGRAPHY:
Mia spent much of her childhood in Illinois , yet also was fortunate to spend many summers in Sweden, where her mother is originally from. Being bilingual and traveling extensively has opened many doors for her in her career as a model.

At the age of fourteen, Mia won her first runway competition and won a one year contract with Eastland Fashion Board.  Mia took to modeling very quickly and became very comfortable in front of the camera as the years passed.

While she loved being in front of the camera, her parents taught her the importance of an education. Modeling on the side, Mia continued to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Geography and on an study abroad program, attended the Christ Church College in Canterbury, England.

During school in her extra time, she assisted in producing high-fashion runways shows to earn extra money in the field she adored. She learned a lot about how the industry worked from the inside out. After graduating, she began to produce her own runway shows and special events for her company, 'Rivet Productions'.

Success in this arena brought her out to California several years later after earning a large contract with a well known line in order to produce the show for their new spring line.

While producing, she decided to continue modeling, her true passion. The west coast offered ample opportunity in runway, print work, fitness modeling, and as a spokesmodel for several commercials as well as appearances on various television shows.

Earlier this year, Mia won the title of Captain to the world‘s largest bikini team, “The Kwicherbichen Bikini Team“.  The team hosts celebrity events and has been featured in numerous magazines.

Mia herself has graced the pages of many magazines including Maxim, Playboy, Hot Boats, Overdrive, and FHM. 

Mia supports various charities including the Susan G. Komen Foundation and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  She enjoys writing and hopes to publish book she has written that will encourage and inspire young models who are eager to break into the world of modeling and fashion.
