Hello MM
My name is Mckenya and I am a model from Philadelphia looking for that big opportunity to become better and present myself to the world.
I've always wanted to model since I was 6 years, and I absolutely love FASHION! I love to wear clothing and shoes that express who I am as an individual. I would describe myself as a trendsetter because my style and look is very different from most models.
My goal while being here on MM, is to network and work with photographers,models,MUA's, and clothing designers. I'm very open and I'm a fast learner, so anything I'm told to do will be picked up very quickly.
The person I admire and who has inspired me to become a model is none other than Ms. Tyra Banks herself. Tyra Banks is my inspiration because not only does she stand for African American women, but she knows how to conduct business and not just taking pictures all the time.
So far, I've been taught that in order to be a successful model, not only do you have to be humble and listen, but you must learn that when you're starting out, your NEW. SO you can't go into the industry thinking that you know everything because you have a portfolio. You have to work hard and be humble to get where Tyra Banks is at. But most importantly, you must know how to conduct your self as a model and a business woman.
Thank you Model Mayhem for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talent so that someone can help me expand my career further along and I can become a successful model.
