About me
I am a fashion and textile designer specialising in embroidery. I create bespoke garments and accessories ranging from jewellery to wedding dresses all adorned with my distinctive signature style of embroidery. I am constantly inspired by nature and the changing seasons and my favourite imagery includes delicate floral designs in applique, ribbon embroidery and beadwork in particular Swarovski crystals. Last year I won the Swarovski prize in a prestigious international embroidery competition. I often incorporate vintage fabrics, off-cuts and antique lace into my designs under my new label "something old...something new". I make everything myself from scratch and devote the utmost care and attention to detail to all my creations making each one a work of art. As my work is unique I need to show it to its best advantage so would love to collaborate with imaginative models, photographers and stylists to create some really amazing images. I am working on a fairy-tale inspired book at the moment incorporating some of my favourite images of my work.
