I'm a UK based photographer and community artist, trying to promote the arts to anyone and everyone wanting to learn. As i've struggled through education the arts helped me, so i'm giving it back and i hope you like my stuff.
I have always loved photography, and as I have taken more and more photo's it has grown into another passion of mine.
I hope i have a range of styles from Man Ray to Steve Gill to David Hockney and Minor White, in my pictures you might see some influences of there presence.
I am more of a landscape photographer and love taking pictures of the outdoors and wildlife. But i'd like to do more model and portrait photographs, so please feel free to model with me.
Though i have been doing photography for many years, i feel I am new to the business, i believe i can bring a new slant of creativity to photography. With being on this site i hope to learn and increase my vocabulary in the different styles and learn all the artist/models names. I hope to also contract work and help others in anyway I can.
I would like to thank all the models I have worked with. I may be ok with the lights and photography but its your talent that really make the picture.

Hi Luke,
I'm not sure if there 'are' such things as tips that I can give you.....I'm not the fountain of all knowledge :-) ..but I suppose if I was pushed into saying what is important....i might say two things.
1 - Practice and Experience - use your time wisely....try and shoot and do as much as you can, all the time. Skill in this line of business comes from 'doing it' and not from a bit of paper, whether that be an HND, an MA or a PhD. Its about you being able to deliver....and that comes from practice and experimentation.
2 - Attitude. never , ever consider yourself as an expert or your ego will become overinflated...this leads to arrogance and in turn a really problematic social behaviour with those that you work with. people like honest, reliable 'nice' people.......quite often in theis business you'll meet some who have forgotten what it's like to be 'nice' and also what it's like to be starting out.
