My name is Lindsay; I also go by "Malu". I am of Hawaiian, Okinawan and Japanese descent. I graduated from University of Hawai'i at Mānoa with a degree in Psychology. I have always enjoyed being both in-front of the camera and behind. My hobbies include hiking, going to the beach, hanging out with friends, volunteering, reading poetry and quotes, photography, cooking, sewing, etc. I am an athletic girl and love the outdoors. I have an "uhi", a traditional Hawaiian tattoo, that runs from my right hip to my ankle. I'm a new model and am very interested in building my portfolio. Currently interested in TFCD/TFP. I do not do nudes.
I would like to try these ideas:
-Prom Dress: A shoot where I can use my old prom dresses. I have about 20 dresses that I would love to use.
-Forest: A shoot in the forest. We live in such a beautiful place, why not use the 'āina to our advantage.
-Bold: A shoot with lots of jewelry and bold make-up. Glamorous!
-Playground: I'm still young, I love the playground. Would love to get more shots where I'm just having fun, having a good time. In the moment kind of shots.
-Mirrors: I want to try something dramatic with mirrors.
-Vintage: I love the old, vintage looks.
-Paniolo: I come from the country and I'd love to slip on my boots.
-Stairs: I want to work on a stairs location. I love the angles it brings to the photographs.
-Upside Down: Photographs from different angles, not just the typical standing up or sitting down.
-Groups: Working with other models would be new for me and I'd be interested in trying it out.
-Traditional Hula: I do many "Hawaiian" themes but would like to try with more of a traditional feel to it.
