We are henna artists looking to build our portfolio. Denise is primarily responsible for applying the henna art, itself. Joe assists with the henna and is responsible for photography. We both share in the creating process of designing the artwork, and prefer to work with models who will express their own creative opinions. We are looking to primarily do large/impressive pieces, which typically means at least full-back, but preferably full-torso or full-body pieces (which can be planned around your work attire, if needed, to keep it hidden at work). Models obviously get to keep the artwork (which lasts a week or two, depending upon your skin and how much you exfoliate). Models would also get a CD with images for use in your own portfolio (henna art can provide a unique addition to any portfolio). Since you will have to live with the art on your body for a week or two, your input in selecting the type of artwork is encouraged (no one wants you to have to walk around with art on that you dislike). Models who want to be part of the artistic process are a great fit!
