My name is Rudy Torres, I have been meaning to set up a MM profile for quite sometime and have finally got around to it!
I have been shooting for about five years now, mostly for press, publicity, runway, concerts, events and nightlife related projects. My work over the years has been published in magazines such as 944, L.A. Direct, Maxim En Espanol, Us Weekly, Lowrider Girls, Skinnie, Fuego, Latino Future, Hispanic Business and several trades related to my customers markets along with numerous online media outlets. I never really kept good track about that stuff, I've always been more concerned with the check clearing than credits.
Those areas have kept me pretty busy and now that things have slowed up I am looking to expand my repertoire, connect with my peers; models, retouchers, designers, stylist and other photographers along with continuing to hone and my craft.
I initially wanted to do more fashion oriented stuff when I started but the obscene amount of trade involved kind of turned me off to it so I ventured to other areas of photography. I am here now looking to hone my skills and get more into fashion and portraiture leading to commercial related projects.
