I am a freelance photographer who was born in Pullman WA, raised in Spokane and lived and traveled extensively throughout the U.S. I find much of my inspiration from both the urban and rural areas of the Inland Northwest and from great photographers such as Edward Curtis, Lewis Hine, Richard Avedon, Mary Ellen Mark, Ansel Adams and other great visual artists such as Warhol, Monet, Picasso and Kandinsky. Although most of my work is sports photography, digital photojournalism or digitally manipulated imagery my true passion lies in nature and landscape and medium format black and white fine art.
