Hey there. I'm Lydia, I'm 18 and live in London. The work I do is fairly spontaneous, I have projects, ideas ect and simply do them. I took Digital Photography at A-Level, which didn't help me much with the technicality of producing high quality photographic work, but it did give me the skills to be able to work around this. It was also during this course that I began bodypainting, I tried using make-up, eyeshadow and whatnot but it didn't work, I couldn't achieve the detail I wanted. Liquid eyeliner was great for pigment, and pencil eyeliners are good to sketch with, especially soft-kohl. I got some bodypaints eventually and loved them, I've been investing in them ever since, products of Charles Fox. I don't usually have an idea of what I paint before I begin, I just doodle. However I'd like to gain experience working with models or photographers who require something more than just "make-up" and who are looking for something a bit different. I also do photography, a neccesity really, and I enjoy it also. The body is beautiful both as subject and canvas.
