My name is Jennifer Houghton and I love to shoot people (with a camera, that is!). I've been doing it for as long as I can remember and after having spend much of my early 20's assisting some of the best photogs out there, I took what I learned and developed a style all my own. These days I love to work on highly stylized portraits, collaborating with as much wardrobe, make up, and hair styling talent as I can. My goal is to develop my fashion portfolio further, hopefully launch some modeling careers, and continue working with some of the great creative talent out there. I consider my style as edgy, inventive, and highly energetic. Personally I'm very patient, kind, and encouraging of all those I work with and try to always see good in everyone and everything. I've worked with enough egomaniacs to know that's not the way I want to achieve my end goal of artistic mastery. Thus far, I've generally met my models through agencies, model testing, and through friends. I'm always on the look-out of someone who has that uniqueness about them that's not necessarily stereotypically 'beautiful' but that photographs in a way that is appealing to the observer. Thus, I continue my hunt....
