Christopher Stanton was born into a military family 23 years ago. As a child, he had a profound a passion for music which, coincidentally, started his interest in photography. "I remember whenever i bought a new CD, I would always look at the pictures in the album booklet and wonder how the shots were taken and how the whole conception of the idea was brought forth."
It was after graduating high school where he decided he wanted to explore photography some more. "I didn't know if i wanted to do just music or just photography, but somehow fuse the two together and make it a respectable career."
In 2006, while studying at CCRI, he began taking classes on photography and digital art. At this time, he decided to start a freelance company with a fellow classmate. "I was like 'lets start something in the photography Field and just network and meet great people and just do what we love'.."
The name for the company was inspired by one of Christopher's biggest inspirations, Lady GaGa. "She calls her whole creative team 'Haus of GaGa' and i was like..hmmm, what about House of Imagery? sort of paying tribute to her for inspiring me so much, u know." House of Imagery strives to create cutting edge art through the fusion of photography and graphic design.
Christopher graduated from CCRI in May 2011 and wants to continue to learn more on Fashion Photography and digital design. "I want to continue to learn all there is to know! I have always said that their is never gonna be a time where I can't learn something new about their passion...and I want to know it ALL!!!!" With great friends and lots of support from admirers, House of Imagery is in no way ready to slow down. It is just the beginning...
