Throughout my life I have always shared an interest in the creative arts. I trained as dancer for several years, through which I was provided with the opportunity to explore a variety of dance styles. It was in my teen years that I developed a passion for musical theatre. By embracing this through watching West End shows such as Priscilla: Queen of the Desert and Hairspray it became clear I could persue an equally important yet different role in a production other than being the performer I was.
I undertook a level 3 NVQ in Theatrical and Media make-up and progressed on to a Foundation Degree in Specialist Make-up Design, which I am currently in the process of completing at the University of Bedfordshire. Through out my training I have achieved multiple work placements within the industry which have provided me with invaluable contacts and a wonderful circle of friends.
I am fully equipped with the skills to carry out all types of make-up application, including editorial, special occassions (Bridal/Prom), face and body painting, special effects and I also posses some ability within Hair styling.
