After ignoring my desires long enough, I am becoming more engaged with photography. I freelance for a local magazine, and that's fun. But I find myself wanting to capture more than I'm allowed with this magazine. I want to improve my fashion and portrait photography skills. I don't want just another pretty picture, I want a narrative to go with it.

By trade, I'm an architect. I often pay attention to the details, but what interests me more is the mood and atmosphere of a space/photo. How does a photo make me feel. I understand lighting and details are key factors in creating this in a photo. But that's where I'm lacking in knowledge.

I know I have a lot to learn and that's part of the reason I joined this site. I am currently working with a small group of people, but I am always open to working more. Any opportunity for me to learn is always welcome.
