I have been doing model photography for more than 30 years with most of my recent work being studio-based fashion, fitness, dance and glamour. However, that being said, I currently have no interest in doing commercial photography. I already make a very good living as an engineer and after taking care of family and work commitments, I do not have sufficient free time left to support operating a profitable photography business.
My style for doing photo shoots is different than that of many photographers. Because the model and I are the only clients for my pictures, I am not constrained by what a third party is willing to buy. This gives me a lot of freedom regarding the content of each shoot and I tend to take full advantage of it. I start with some ideas about what types of pictures are likely to be best suited for the model I am working with. However, the model and I both invariably get “what if” ideas as the shoot progresses and sometimes we jointly decide to pursue those ideas. End result is that sometimes the final content of the shoot matches my original vision and sometimes it is totally different. What always happens, however, is that the process of collaborating with the model always results in a shoot that is better than either of us could have individually planned.
I am currently looking to expand my portfolio in the following areas - fitness, dance and Maxim-style glamour (cutoff tee shirt, bikini and/or lingerie with optional implied). Emphasis of shoots will be on using motion and movement to showcase a toned athletic body. Clothing should be consistent with showing off your body in this style. In particular, bare midriff, arms and legs are desirable so that your musculature and toning can be seen. A dance background is obviously beneficial for this type of shoot, but is not required. However, if you happen to have en pointe ballet experience, I would like to spend part of the shoot trying to get some good action shots that showcase your ballet abilities (you will need to provide the pointe shoes).
Escorts, including your boyfriend or husband, are always welcome.
If you are interested in doing a photo shoot with me, the best way to contact me is through a private message here on Model Mayhem. I will respond as soon as I can (generally within 12 to 24 hours).
I update my photography website (URL is above) far more often than this site. To see my most recent work, that is the place to look.
The list of Model Mayhem models that I have worked with has grown to have more than 100 names, so here is the shorter list of those that I have worked with 3+ times. If you want to check my references, these models and those in my top friends list are a good place to start.
