I have been on TV in Seconds From Disaster: King's Cross Fire (National Geographic), Mummy Autopsy (Discovery), Dark Justice (Lorimar) and in 118 118 Rocky, Renault Clio Graffiti and Toshiba commercials.
In the theatre, I have done Romeo & Juliet, Molière’s The Imaginary Invalid, Comedy of Errors, Pinter's Victoria Station – “cleverly presented” Three Weeks, “a really different experience even for Edinburgh” British Theatre Guide – The Fire Raisers – “strikingly fresh, biting production” The Independent – and Alma at Leeds City Varieties.
I have modelled for Getty Images, Gateway Computers and Merck.
I have also been paid to hang around in an art gallery installation for 6 hr all in purple and with a purple whole-head mask!
See my Comedy CV at www.comedycv.co.uk/robertallwood
I have lived in Berlin, Amsterdam and Barcelona, and speak/write/understand Spanish, German, Dutch, French, Italian and Catalan.
Through my language skills I am a translator, also ex-Deputy Editor of a U.S. newspaper.
