Hello, my name is Amanda, and I'm a professional cosmetologist. I've had my license since Oct 2009, but I've always had the nack for making people pretty :)
I've done a few amateur photo shoots with friends, I've done the makeup for a professional photo shoot. Yes, I include doing the makeup for my own wedding, because to me it was a big deal, those pictures aren't cheap, lol. I've done the makeup for girls going to be on stage, and just going out to parties, including prom. I've painted beautiful young girls, I transformed my friend David into JLo one year for halloween, and worked with canvases of lovely older women as well. You throw it at me, I can handle it.
I have an obvious style of blending, and I LIVE by the color wheel, but if someone has a deffinite vision, I'm happy to appeal.
At the moment (because I do hair as well) I work at a hair salon 3 days a week, Tues, Fri, Sat and an occasional Wed. Those days, unless I'm getting paid and it's made worth my while, are out of the questions for me to work. And if it was worth while, I would need at least 2 weeks advance notice.
Otherwise, I'm totally free and would love to advance my portfolio, and eventually become the bona fide Makeup Artist I've always wanted to be.
