I am drawn to the interplay of dark and light, as well as the creative possibilities afforded by simple techniques such as second shutter curtain flash. A model who has definite opinions and views as to what she she wishes to convey about her personality can add significantly to the photo session, as the interplay of a photographers vision can be combined with the models input to create a dynamic tension that fosters creativity. Lastly I would say that though I believe it is best to err on the side of simplicity, I am by no means a purist.
