My name is Cortney and I am a makeup Artist. I graduated from Artists Within School of Make-Up in June 2010.

Following a small break this summer I am ready to start getting serious about what I love: Make-Up!! It used to just be a hobby, I would do make up for friends/family for special events or nights out etc, I decided I wanted to take it further and enrolled in makeup school, I now enjoy taking my art to the next level.

I love doing anything from natural makeup to crazy looks but ,my favorite is avant guard looks where anything is possible as I love playing with colors and seeing what I can come up with. I believe with makeup anything is possible. There are so many new products coming out every month and it is amazing re-creating the way a person looks with a few products, the before and after effects are worth it!

I have been working with a few photographers/Models in Calgary and I hope to expand my knowledge by finding models/photographers who would like to do shoots for prints to help add to there portfolio as well as mine or paid shoots in the. At this point I really just want to get my name out there and show people what I can do and I think this is a great way to meet models and photographers wanting the same thing as me.
