Michael Di Filippo is a Computer IT Specialist. He has been involved with computers since the age of 8 when he edited a program written by his brother to help him with his home work. Instead of helping, the program gave him the answers. Michael's art influence came from his sister, who briefly trained as a fine artist at the Rhode Island School of Design.
In college Michael excelled with computers from basic to advanced levels in programming and hardware. During the dot com boom of the early 90s, he worked for a small company that transferred him into the "Webmaster" position. During this time, Michael began using programs such PhotoShop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and BBedit, receiving training at various centers in these applications. He used this training to fuel his passion for photography, video and music.
Since then Michael has continued to appreciate, love and create digital works of art, first as a hobby, and now professionally. Michael continues his training with a well-renowned portrait artist and photographer.
