My name is Mike Hendrickson and i do a little bit of everything. I shoot weddings primarily but have recently been working on opening a studio in downtown Worcester. In the past year i've done a lot of work with models and portraits.
So i'm working with Patrick C. Sullivan of PCSphotography and opening a large co-op style studio in downtown Worcester. We're always running large model shoots out in Concord and realized that there is a pretty big demand for studio space by photographers. The only problem is that a majority of photographers that we've met are pretty green to shooting in a studio. We run our shoots by setting everything up and walking around and helping everyone, we want to bring that to Worcester. More details about the studio can be found on Facebook "Worcester Photo Studio" or www.worcesterphotostudio.com.
I first got interested in photography in my teenage years, I started documenting everything I was doing. I had almost 3 dozen photo albums before realizing that I was leaning towards becoming a photographer. I started going to Europe and all across the New England area taking landscape shots and whatever else felt like a good artistic expression.
I went through pocket digital cameras about once, I would break them from using them too much. Eventually I upgraded and got a DSLR, which i eventually have to send in for repairs here and there. I started shooting weddings and from that one wedding that i've started with i've done 15 more. I've upgraded my equipment and my shooting style a few times since then, but i'm very happy with what i'm doing right now.
