A self diagnosed camera nut, I work a lot in traditional film photography, and use a variety of different formats. I have over twenty different cameras dating back as far the 1940s up until today. So yeah,
I'm not one for big set ups and crazy concept shoots. They look really great sometimes and create some cool images, but my style has always been more naturalistic, trying to get the subject to speak for itself. Trying to find that one shot where you can see the person and truly know them.
I'm interested in photographing real people, with real flaws and moles in awkward places and funny shaped noses and bizzare personalities and strange mannerisms. You know, us.
Also, I don't believe in airbrushing. Skin has texture, it's not plastic.
