I am Phil and I am a fashion-based lifestyle photographer based in Chicago. I also enjoy making photo journalistic travel images.

The photography bug bit me almost two decades ago after I discovered the art as another means of expressing a scene. Before that, I drew just about everything I saw and my background as a pencil-artist has now allowed me to incorporate subtleties that make an image memorable.

I specialize in creating contemporary yet memorable captures with a vision to paint with my camera, my interpretation of a scene, a person, and an emotion.

I believe that Model Mayhem is an excellent venue to allow me to collaborate with creative contemporaries while building my network and sharing my work, as well as expertise.
