Behind the brushes

Yasemin Bilgic is a degree graduate, specialising in make-up and hair design for music, film and photography. Her passion for art as well as her love of fashion and beauty has lead her to persue her career as a freelance make-up and hair designer, being able to fluently understand and translate the language of design accross the spectrum adds to her versatile style. Over her time years as a practising artist she has involved herself in many creative projects in collaboration with stylists and photographers as well as independently. Her down to earth nature, strong work ethic and understanding of the creative process make her an asset to any creative team.

Having held the position of chief make-up and hair designer at live charity fashion, show FUZE, Bristol in 2011 she is well practiced at translating script and/ or concept into innovative hair and make-up design whilst leading a team of artists. constantly drawing on inspiration from the world around her ensures a fresh and artistic touch.. Yasemin works on new faces with modelling agencies such as: Oxygen, LMP and Milk for both straight and plus size models. Yasemin Has recently workd with photographers: Julian Marshall and Elliot Morgan.

Despite having studied hair and make-up design for 3 years at solent university Yasemin has now enrolled to become a total pro with academy of free lance make-up in london where she will be gaining even more experience and knowledge into the industry.

She is also a proud representative of prestigious make-up brand Estee Lauder where she is an advisor, artist, and teacher of make-up and skin care. Yasemin uses her expertise as a bridal hair and make-up artist, based in Hampshire, England.
Although I do a lot of paid work, depending on the project I would be willing to work for prints in some cases (So long as expenses are covered). Full UK driving Licence
