JLAWS is a philadelphia native hairstylist,make-up artist and event coordinator.Her elaborations have graced stage and screen, runway and print, night clubs and store windows.With unique styles that grace all throughtout the tri-state area, JLAWS has been called upon to work on projects for individual designers,photographers,radio stations,beauty supply stores and more.
Always having an eye for the fashion industry JLAWS started at the mere age of 12 doing friends and family members hair for practice until she decided to perfect her craft at 18 while attending JEAN MADELINE AVEDA INSTITUTE gaining her operators and teachers certification in cosmetology. It was then that she truely became obsessed with the fashion industry always looking for the next challenge. In school she won numerous challenges in hair battles making sure her presence was known throughout.JLAWS graduated top of her class with honors achieving the most reconizable award ever Valedictorian's award.It was then they awarded her with a scholorship for the teachers program, allowing her to teach her skills and crafts to others who have the same passion.Soon after JLAWS worked for REGIS corp as a stylist in-salon although shortly after she began doing freelance work for the company.This is where it all began freelance work gave her the flexibility she needed to jump start her career.
JLAWS work is an eye catcher from the natural to the outrageous and everything in between, she lives in a world where you make hair and make-up a piece of art.JLAWS feels its very important to share her knowledge and passion for what she does therefor giving classes and seminars aside from everyday styling is only the half of it.From fashion shows to photoshoots JLAWS juggles it all, while reserving time for continuing eduacation there is no stopping her once she starts.With "hands of gold" you are sure to hear her name floating through the air.
