I started painting when I was about 13, but it has mostly been pretentious abstract stuff until just a few years ago when I decided to give portrait painting a try. I was worried it would be boring or frustratingly difficult, but things seem to be turning out alright so far.

So far I've been working off of photos, but would like to try working with live models. I'm not picky about this; my only requirement is that you have a face, and legal ownership of the copyright thereto. I don't see many portrait painters from my area on here, so hopefully I can carve out a niche for myself.

Give me more things to paint!
