Relocation to Austin Texas is complete.  First off I would like to thank all the wonderful people in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area - I will miss y'all and wish that there had been a little more time to finish the projects we've discussed.
This coming year I'd like to concentrate more on themed shoots with some straight glamor/beauty thrown in for variety.  I have several art projects in the work - some of which require props and the right model for the look I have in mind.  Many of the projects involve recreating/interpreting classic paintings.  Some are investigating a theme such as "breaking the mold". All I feel are interesting and have potential to be that definitive or off-the-wall shot for both of our ports. Be on the lookout for casting calls or specific requests for these projects.
One thing I'm struggling with is a dearth of models willing to pose in the buff, aka nude, nekkid, no clothes.  Ladies - this is art for me, and I hope for you.  You deserve to preserve the essential you in photography you'll be proud of.  I don't do exploitative photography - sexy, provocative, evocative, thought-provoking, glamorous, sassy and classy are more to my taste.  So take a chance and do something different, liberating and rewarding.  The human body is beautiful and expressive and I aim to capture that in my work.
I have absolutely no problem with responsible chaperons - I don't however like escorts that interfere or too many people that just want to gawk.  I like for the model and I to have fun when we shoot but we are trying to get something accomplished and it deserves our full attention.
Hoping to meet and make new friends here in Austin and surrounding areas.  I feel new ideas percolating already with the desert terrain and interesting locations here.  Feel free to contact any of the folks that I have worked with for references.  I keep it on a professional level with enough flexibility to allow developing a rapport - you're not just another body in front of my camera - you're a fellow human with hangups, quirks, desires, hopes and aspirations and I intend to respect that and apply my craft to show you to your best advantage.  Also - I have met some models with amazing ideas, amazingly cool outfits, toys to die for (a particularly sexy Vespa comes to mind) - do not be shy about approaching me with your ideas - they challenge me to step outside my zone and that's always a Very Good Thing.  So if you think that you have a great idea involving you, an outfit your grandma got in Morocco and a Motoguzzi - bring it on!  Let's see what we can do to bring your vision to life.
I provide at minimum a CD of select shots.  I say select because I will trash anything that isn't up to my standards.  If I make test prints I usually give those also.  I shoot with the latest digital gear and utilize a professional color-managed workflow.  I'm pretty darned good with my tools.  So step up ladies and gents and let's make some art!
