I am a freelance makeup artist new to the Atlanta Area and I would like to use Model Mayhem to team up with models and/or photographers in the area. My main goal is to continue building my portfolio since the majority of my portfolio was in print and is still in Wisconsin, I've had to restart from scratch.

Although I don't have "professional" training in makeup, I have taken some classes and have experience as a makeup artist and photographer for important life events, (i.e., weddings, senior portraits, parties, etc). In Wisconsin I offered all kinds of services as a freelance makeup artist (bridal, model portfolio/head shots, special events, teaching makeup basics/application, etc.) and continue to offer those services here in Atlanta.

I am currently a makeup artist for a modeling agency here in Atlanta, but I'm interested in branching out for more opportunities to work with other models and photographers in the area in addition to what I do with VVE. Because I'm trying to build a new portfolio (and kit!), my pricing can be negotiable debating on the type of event and how many people I will be working with. I will consider TFP!

I work with a large range of products (high end and good quality low end products) - but the majority of the makeup I use on clients is MAC. I prefer to work with whatever is the best quality makeup - not the "quality" name! It's what LOOKS good that counts, right?

I freelance during my spare time, so I am only available evenings and weekends (I work a standard corporate 8-5 schedule during the week at my "real" job).
