Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jennifer Renshaw began her formal art training at age eleven with Bucks County artists Robert & Alice Seufert. She also studied at Moore College of Art and went on to earn her B.F.A., and M.A.T. from The University of the Arts. During her time at The University of the Arts, she studied with realist artists, Renee Foulks and Martha Mayer Earlbacher. Jennifer continued her postgraduate studies with Nelson Shanks in New York and Philadelphia, and with Jura Bedic at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy.

Renshaw's paintings have been exhibited in many diverse shows including The Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery, Philadelphia, PA; The Museum of American Illustration, New York, NY; The Philadelphia Sketch Club, Philadelphia PA; The Perkins Center for the Arts, Moorestown NJ; The Trenton City Museum,Trenton, NJ; The Fleisher Art Memorial, Philadelphia, PA and many other venues.

Jennifer’s work has been recognized nationally and garnered many awards including the Albert Dorne Award, Perry Leland Award and the Strathmore Paper Company Portrait Award. Jennifer's work has also been included in Communication Arts Illustration Annual, and the Society of Illustrators. Her work is represented in public and private collections, including the law firm of Fox Rothschild, and Ethan Robbins and Mary Travers.
