Magdalene Veen

I occasionally travel to Seattle and Los Angeles.

My name is Magdalene Veen. As I write this, my hair is a minty blonde, which was just not an option in the drop-down menu. I've been on hiatus from modeling for quite a while, sparing the occasional shoot for a friend, and a strange urge is boiling up in me like the sunken city of R'lyeh finally ascending to sealevel. The urge is to pose, to pout, to take on strange forms and inhabit new roles, if only for a click, a frame, a cell.

Since I've been doing this so long, I have a massive collection of clothing, makeup, and props. Over sixty pairs of shoes; a brace of corsets and bodices; stockings vintage and modern; too many legwarmers; wigs; beads, ribbons, and strings of pearls; giant antique steamer trunks; fishing net; feathers; hats; Victorian jackets and corsets; WWII-era battlefield furniture; and a hardwood-floor, high-ceilinged apartment, right in the ghetto.

Modeling professionally since I was 16, appearing in print in Maxim UK, Varla Magazine, Label Magazine, Gothic Beauty, Skin Two and have been muse to artists including Travis Louie, Brian Horton, Matt Black, Sam Haney, Coppervale Studio, and San Inman.  I have modeled on runways and in catalogs for designers including Eternal Love, Bedhead PJs, AMF Korsets, Papusza Couture, Yoshimi Designs, Torture Garden, Dragoness, and Catastrophe Clothing.
