About Me

My love for the fine arts has been in me since I could remember. Friends and family have always told me that I was good at “drawing” but I never took them seriously. I had joined the military after high school and later in my career started working for different employers as an medical electronic technician. I realized over time that I was trying to become someone that I was not. I knew that art has always been a part of my life and I decided to continue my studies as an artist. I enrolled into a BFA graphic design program I knew that having a degree in fine arts would satisfy my personal goals but increase my appetite for the visual arts. I was introduced to the different medias of the fine arts and was able to quickly adapt from one media to another. As an undergraduate I was given the flexibility to have my body of work take on a definite theme.
I have learned to appreciate the vast differences within art and it has given me a direction on what I plan to do in the future. I have always been interested in graphic design and but I found my love in the studio arts. I continued my education and pursue a MFA.
I continue to use the human form in my works and find that as complicated as it may be, no matter how many times it is used there is always something new for me to explore. I want my work to engage the audience so the participants become part of the work.
I intend to enjoy life and continuously produce art through out my life.
