My name is Josh and I'm a photographer based in Newtown, Sydney.
I'm from a music video background - having directed, written and cut clips for Angus & Julia Stone ('Babylon' and 'Just a Boy'), Birds of Tokyo ('Wild Eyed Boy'), The Snowdroppers ( White Dress ) and The John Steel Singers ('Overpass').
I won an IF award for Best Music Video (2008) and have received nominations for an ARIA and J award.
I've been photographing live music for Drum Media since January 2011 and I've shot countless bands in that time, including The Rolling Stones, The Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Bruce Springsteen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Bloc Party, Slipknot, Queens of the Stone Age, Flight of the Conchords, Black Sabbath, Skrillex, Fat Boy Slim and many more...

Besides Drum Media, my photos have been published in the Herald Sun, Rolling Stone, Empire, FilmInc and Fangoria Magazines.
Shooting with models is a passion and I'm always interested in collaborating on creative, unique and daring ideas outside the conventional - if it's risky, weird or unusual - I'll probably be into it - so, if you're in the Sydney area and would like to collaborate - message me!
Look forward to hearing from you...
