New York photographer, very established, shooting male and female models...fashion, beauty, portraits, fitness, artistic nudes, editorial and advertising... I work with most all of the top NEW YORK fashion agencies... as well as numerous smaller boutique agencies, specialty agencies and talent managers - shooting models for their portfolios, promos and comp cards, in addition to my editorial and advertising work. I also work with many experienced models worldwide and many new inexperienced models- developing their portfolios, and often helping to place them with agencies, representation, or, get them started in other modeling venues.
I am world renowned Make-Up Artist, (celebrities, supermodels, editorials, cosmetic campaigns etc.). Additionally, I am an internationally known body painter- (which I rarely do when I'm shooting). I do hire models for body painting for upscale events -(Beyonce, A-Rod, HBO, FHM cover, Swarvorski Crystal, Angels In America, Food & Wine, H&G, Bravo, Lotus, Lil' Kim, W Hotel, Paramount Films, etc.)-
I hire models primarily through NYC agencies, but, on numerous occasions use free lance talent (of course including MM talent). I am also a fitness/ training expert, to some degree- (having worked on the ESPN show BODYSHAPING, photographed Olympic athletes, and fitness covers and physique editorials).
* Portfolio test shoots for very reasonable base rate packages include(for guys)- 5 rolls/5 looks (includes make up/ hair/ grooming and fitness pre shoot bronzing/'self tanning'-if needed))... and for girls- 5 rolls/5 looks (includes full make-up & 'lite' hair)... a few additional rolls may be included for $25. per roll. Clothing stying options are available. If you supply your own clothing, I need to see your selected suggestions before the shoot date. I always meet with all local models before shoot date to get a good concept of your goals and our planned direction, etc.,-(other 'on line meeting' methods are used for out of town models). I often give pre shoot fitness advice for appropriate models.
*As a general rule, I DO NOT DO free (or TFP/TFCD) shoots... If you contact me, expressing interest in doing a portfolio shoot I will assume you understand it will be a paid test shoot.
