At a young age, I found that photography was something I loved. When I
was ten, I saved up one hundred dollars and purchased my first camera.
From that moment on I was hooked. I started to document the lives of
my family and friends...from camping trips, to birthdays and
everything in between. As I grew, so did my love for photography.

When I was fresh out of high school, I was lucky enough to work for a
studio called David Michael Photography, where I was able to work on
my technique and fine tune my art. I was shooting a lot and gaining
knowledge every day. It was photography where I realized my other
passion, travel. It was great that my love for travel went hand in
hand with my photography.

I am fortunate enough to have traveled all over the world, and every
time I experience a new culture, it only fuels my need for more
travel. Traveling has been a life changing experience for me, from
eating the heart of a cobra in Vietnam, to teaching Cambodian children
English. Every chance I get, I jump on a plane.

Recently, I have had the opportunity to go on a television show called
"The Shot". It gives 10 photographers the chance to live out their
wildest fantasies, in pursuit of their ultimate dream: to become the
next great fashion photographer. I lived, and worked with 9 other
photographers, while being guided by world-renowned fashion
photographer, Russell James. This was an amazing opportunity for me,
which takes my career to the next level. I wouldn't trade it for the
world! The show airs on VH1 in November of 2007.

Photography is taking me places, literally. I'm learning and loving it
more everyday. It has been a wild ride, but it's only the
beginning...
