While I agree that art is passionate and emotional, it is more than just about feelings for me. Yes I am an artist, but I consider myself more of a student. I have a great desire to learn, to sit and immerse myself in the environment of great teachers and art masters. To that end, I have taken many classes in watercolors, oils, acrylics, and drawing.

My student persona began in the field of architecture before computers constituted the main workforce. I never did finish that degree, but went on to invest more time and effort in my art. As the eternal student, I once refrained from painting or drawing in order to learn and read and research everything I could about color. When I next picked up a brush two years later, I felt as if I had earned the right to apply color to the canvas.

Many on this site consider themselves muses, but for me this site serves as a beautiful muse, drawing me in with her alluring promise of unpainted masterpieces and undrawn sketches that reside somewhere deep in my soul. It is she, and her sisters, that will help release them, and they to whom I am forever beholden.

Adding to my accomplishments as an artist, I must note that I have never lost a game of Pictionary!
