Stephanie Swartz is a commercial, editorial and wildlife photographer. Her clients include O - The Oprah Magazine, Virgin Atlantic, "The Dr. Oz Show", Yahoo, NBC, Fox, TLC, "House, M.D.", Scholastic Books, Scientific American, the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, Digital Photo Pro Magazine and Adobe Layers Magazine.

Her highly acclaimed photograph "Lion in the Shadows" was chosen as a winner in the 2010 National Geographic Photo Contest. She was also a finalist in the National Geographic/Photo District News "World in Focus" contest, and was a silver award recipient in the International Aperture Awards. Her portfolio has been displayed on numerous photography websites, and she was recently chosen to be a guest speaker on how to be successful in photography at a convention in New York City.

Before beginning her career as a photographer, Stephanie was an illustrator and visual effects artist for film and television. She has 15 years of experience as a digital photo retoucher and compositor. In 1998 she received her Master's Degree in Digital Media from the American Film Institute.

Stephanie shoots on location primarily in Ventura, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara counties, or at her studio in Moorpark.
