I LOVE BEING A MAKEUP ARTIST. It's my passion, my life, my soul, my air, my addiction. I live for it. When I'm working on a face, the world is gone. All that I see is my beautiful canvas, my brushes, my colors, and the endless possiblities.

I went to Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry in Fort Lauderdale in 2007. Since then I've been soaking up every bit of knowledge about the industry I can and trying to book as many jobs as I could, mostly weddings and special photographs (graduation, pregnancy, engagement, some headshots, etc), while still maintaining a full time non-makeup job. Everyday I am on the web, researching new products, new techniques, new trends. About a year ago I quit my monday-friday full time non makeup day job that I've had for the last seven years and went to work for a cosmetic retailer, so that I could have daily experience applying makeup to many different kinds of faces. I love it because of the experience and because daily I get to be surrounded by and do what I love, which is talk about and apply makeup.

I'm joining ModelMayhem because while I love and enjoy what I'm doing now, my goal is to work in Fashion and Print. from the beginning, the thought of working backstage at a runway show or at a photo shoot makes my heart race. That is where my dream is, and now I want to make it my reality. Building a portfolio is what my next step needs to be, and I would love the opportunity to test with photographers and work with amazing models.
