I'M NOT SHOOTING AFTER THIS WEEK TILL SPRING. ...too much back catalogue to catch up on:)
___________________________________________________________
I'm a Photographer, Graphic Designer, & occasional Art director. I do some commercial work but mainly shoot art photography - women more often now too.
I'm a very friendly, laid back person, but its important for people to get where I'm coming from before we work together so there is no misunderstanding later on.
I do not 'bang out' the last shoot I worked on unless it is a paid client job and I have to. When it comes to photography I produce stuff primarily for gallery and exhibition so I do this at my own speed (partly because I have another full-time job).
Here's what models can expect:
a) to be
paid when its for art related work that I want to shoot. I do not pay for any other type of work.
b) a friendly, laid back, and professionally respectful shoot.
c) an 'agreement' which spells out how the images will be used and grants the model much editorial control.
d) high res. image(s). At least 1 of your choice (though often more), and consent to have another retoucher go at it/them. I do not have the time to do them myself as the pieces I do work on often take months for me to complete. That is primarily why I compensate models with pay.
e) when I do complete a piece you will get a copy of it (as long as I have up to date contact info). You get a web version and a print if you request it after seeing the finished product (up to 17x22 in size).
* these are my basic rules. I'm a pushover and will often do my best to do more for people, but you need to understand that the work I do is often not fast-turnaround.
I try my best to pass client payed jobs on to models I've worked with whenever I can.
Usually the MU work is mine. In the case where I've used an experienced MUA I will post a credit.
Thank you to those who have said kind things.
