About me

Thanks for checking out my page. I am JillianJoy Rose. I have been doing makeup for about 7 years. I love it to pieces and want to do more in the conceptual arena.

I started out doing special effects makeup at haunted houses and have gone from there. I am mostly self taught but was recently certified at the Avalon School of Cosmetology under the direction of DCMakeup using MAC products.

I worked on my first feature film "Hansel and Gretel" as the FX makeup artist and have continued to work on independent features and local student films since.

I have worked with Cadence Dance Co. on several of their photoshoots and dance videos. I am also a model on this site and have done my own makeup for all of my shoots with the exception of one. Please feel free to check out this work at www.modelmayhem.com/jilljoy

I am not a hairstylist, although I can do some basic styling (teasing, curls, etc.) I cannot do crazy high fashion styles or updo's.

I love nothing more than to make people bloody and messed up but I'm doing a lot of TF and looking to do all different types of makeup to build up my print portfolio since most of my work has been for film or live productions.
