Hey there. I'm a graphic/web designer and illustrator. When I'm not doing client work, I like to create digital illustrations using Illustrator, Photoshop and my Wacom tablet.
I used to spend hours scouring sites like iStockphoto or the facebook profile photos of my friends to find images that I could manipulate and make "artsy".

I've been using celebrities or friends as the subjects of my pieces but I'd like to expand, find new models/faces to create some really cool pieces. For instance, I've had this idea of illustrating a Superheroine Swimsuit series (a la Sports Illustrated). Plus if a model really likes the piece, I'm sure she'd be happy to receive a print which would bring further exposure to that area of my creativity.
I've limited experience with photo retouching (level/contrast adjustment, blemish removal, saturation adjustment, and skin smoothing) but I'd like to get better at that as well.
