I've been at photography for about 15 years now. Had a slow beginning where I spent perhaps too much time trying to understand every little thing about the art and science of it (possibly missing out on just getting out there and firing off a thousand frames at a time). But after some time away to look after an ailing family member, I returned and somehow brought both science and art together in a way I hadn't experienced before.

I've mostly enjoyed portraiture (my furry roommates generally being my favourite subjects), but have dabbled in several other areas as well, namely food and product photography.

I tend to focus a good deal on lighting. It really does make the difference between a decent snapshot and a stunning image. There's not much worse than a potentially good shot that's ruined by flat lighting.

I really enjoy shooting people. Much of that has to do with how much I enjoy being around others, sharing some great conversation and working towards something special. I promise an easy and productive experience, filled with an awful lot of laughs. It's all about fun. If we're both having a good time then it'll show up in the end results.

I'm presently revising my portfolio. I feel that I've made a bit of leap in what I'm producing and want to start fresh with new work, new models, new ideas, etc., Should your motivations be similar I'd be happy to collaborate. We'll both get some great examples of our efforts and hopefully some far-reaching word of mouth.
