I've had a lifetime of experience with photography, going all the way back to playing with simple disposable cameras as a child. Currently I'm a student of photography at the University of North Florida, and some of my influences have been Diane Arbus, Naomi Harris, Jenny "Lens" Stern, Larry Utley, Dave Naz, Terry Richardson, and Annie Leibovitz. In addition, comic books, music and movies have played a significant part in forming my style. My favorites include low-budget schlock from Troma (Toxic Avenger, Poultreygeist, Sgt. Kabukiman), indies, punk rock, rockabilly, 60s pop, hard rock, and horror films. The best way to describe my work is that I want to bring back a sense of fun and openness that I see in some of my influences.
