Right now Fomo La Mode is building up an inventory of clothing, accessories, ect. At this point we're interested in contacting photographers, graphic designers, makeup artists, and models to help us promote ourselves to gain a fan base.
The idea of our name came from the fusion of the most influential cultures in fashion, Italy and France.
Formo in Italian means form [or to form]. Italy’s fashion peaked in the Renaissance era. If you know anything about the renaissance it was the point in time when Italy was pretty much blooming in the "art department" lol The word renaissance itself means re-awakening/rebirth. Which gives the appeal of new innovations. Italian designs were well-known for their extravagance, and extremely expensive accessories.
La Mode means Fashion in French. As we all know Paris has been the fashion capital of the world since the beginning. Fashion in France has also been known most for elegant and luxurious fashion.
Both of these cultures dwell on high standard living. With the blend of Formo & La mode we intended to exhibit classic, yet fresh, high class/quality garments and style (BUT financially manageable).
Simply in our name we are making a statement..."we are re-Forming Fashion".
