I am currently a senior at Northern Michigan University majoring in Physiology in the Pre-Vet Studies Program and minoring in Chemistry and Art and Design. My resume includes several community service and volunteer activities including "Make-a-Difference Day", Relay for Life, "Spring Into Service", The Animal Medical Center of Marquette, Superior Edge, and The Special Olympics. I also render various honor awards and positions. Last year I was President of the Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society as well as Vice-President of the Pre-Vet Club and Alumni Chair of the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society and a government officer of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.

I have previous modeling experience ranging from different genres. Though I have not modeled professionally, I have been presented by a local ski and snowboard shop for winter clothing fashion and gear modeling for photographs and a television commercial, hairstyle runway model by Jessica and Co. Salon, model for a few student friends for photography projects, and my senior photo was used for promotional material for Mac McGoon Photography in 2007.

I have many hobbies including scuba diving, camping, cliff jumping, hiking, (basically anything outdoors), reading, traveling, and many sports like soccer, lacrosse, football and horseback riding. My interests include anything relating to nature and conservational efforts, and also include my goals for the future of attending veterinary school, my art, and travel.

I am applying to this website today to explore other realms available to me. I have been given business cards and contacts before but I never returned them because I wanted to contribute to and make my mark on the scientific community for my intellect, not my body. Through growth and further maturation I have gained insight on who I am and what I can do. I know I can achieve my goals with my intellect, so why not apply myself for something I do not fully know about? I want to apply all my assets. Of course potentially acquiring monetary support through modeling to pay for school certainly outweighs and out-entertains my former minimum wage jobs of delivering sandwiches and wiping tables to support myself. Therefore, here I am. I am an honest humble student, looking to see what I can accomplish.
