I am a freelance and commission artist who works from my home studio in Saskatoon, SK. I also express myself creatively through the occasional modelling session (MM#1620858).

Originally from Prince Albert, SK, I moved to Saskatoon in 2006 to develop my arts education through the University of Saskatchewan's Fine Arts and College of Education Arts Education departments. In 2010, I received a B.Ed with distinction majoring in Arts Education.

My arts background began in childhood when it became clear I loved anything creative. From art classes, to painting rocks, to drawing great murals in sidewalk chalk down the street, to submitting drawings of my favorite animals to local newspapers in hopes they'd be published; it was obvious I loved art. Once I developed my skills, I began doing commissioned paintings at the age of 16.

I work primarily with acrylic paint on canvas/paper, but I also enjoy watercolor painting, charcoal, pastel, and graphite drawing upon occasion.

My subject matter varies greatly and I'm open to trying anything, but my fortes are natural elements, still life, and landscapes. My preferred color schemes to work with are bold bright colors or gray scale which I find has great impact. I have done some portraiture in my art career and would like to experiment with that some more using live models or reference photographs.

With my arts education background, I am accredited to teach art classes. I welcome experienced or beginner artists of any age. Please contact me regarding art instruction.
