My name is Rebecca Bowman, though I go by Becki. I am a really upbeat, creative aspiring make up artist. Currently I am at a community college still trying to figure out where to go from here. I work in the restaurant industry, though to be secure enough in makeup to be able to leave it for good would be the best feeling. Most of the makeup work I currently do is for my portfolio, however I have had some requests for Weddings (in the future) and some make up on models for other photographers (also students). My ultimate goal is to become a makeup artist for movie sets, or to become a special effects makeup artist. I haven't done too much in terms of setting towards the special effects goal, only because I'm still trying to figure out my future. I really hope to create a career for myself out of makeup because it puts me in my best, most relaxed state of mind. I admire many makeup artists and strive for inspiration and connection through this site. I can't get enough of admiring other's work and this is also a great way for me to get my work out there as well. My current style is beauty make up, but as of late I've been trying to branch out a little more in creativity terms.
